Firstly, on behalf of our Chairman Tony Smith and all the members at Crawley RFC, I would like to thank you very much for your sponsorship during the 2008/09 season. We hope to build long-term and mutually beneficial relationships with our sponsors, by adopting an inclusive and friendly approach.
Our preparations for next season have gone very well, and the 1st XV have been successful beating Worthing and Croydon in pre season friendlies. Work has continued on the new Club website and I’m delighted to say that it will go live on Friday 12th September 2008 at www.crawleyrfc.co.uk.
Forthcoming events – Dates for your diary
During the season we have designated the following three dates as “Sponsor Days”:
- Saturday 27/09/08 Crawley v Seaford
- Saturday 01/11/08 Crawley v Pulborough
- Saturday 18/04/08 Crawley v Burgess Hill
These are very special dates where the whole club will be rolling out the red carpet to sponsors, and it would mean a lot to us if you accepted our hospitality on these days.
The timings for 27th September
1.00pm Arrival and pre lunch drinks. The Minis section will be conducting a training demonstration on the main pitch.
1.30pm Lunch Buffet provided by Zari Bar &Restaurant.
2.00pm First XV squad photo and pre match warm up. Complimentary drinks and meet Club Officers
3.00pm Match Kick Off
5.00pm Presentations to Sponsors. Meet 1st XV Captain and Coaching staff
5.30pm Event ends
This promises to be a superb day where our Sponsors can meet the “Club” and see how their support is making a difference. A photographer will be in attendance during the afternoon to take a few press shots. Should you wish to bring any of your company marketing material, a small display area will be available.
I will be calling you personally in advance of the event, but in the meantime I have attached a copy of this Season’s 1st XV fixtures, you are always welcome at the Club.
