Responsibilities:
- To select the players to form the team
- Inform players’ of selection
- Monitor players’ performance and recommend promotion or demotion as required
- Ascertain and record players’ availability for forthcoming games
- Manage playing kit and any other items required ie Match Balls, First Aid kits, Touch Flags etc
- Manage all aspects of match days including collection of match fees, directions to venues, welcoming referees etc., captaining on the field

Responsibilities:
- Playing and administrative matters related to a single year group or team.
- At all times to protect the welfare of all children in the team.
- Ensuring that there is a phone and first aid equipment available and emergency vehicle access w hen running sessions when the club is shut.
- Assigning a qualified first aider and ensuring up to date medical data for all players is always available when required.
- Assigning Assistant Coach and Team Administrator.
- Ensuring Club and RFU(W) safety standards/procedures are adhered to.
- Actively encourage players to wear mouth guards and shin pads and regularly check that their player's studs and equipment complies with IRB standards.
- Liasing with senior coaching staff and other Team coaches.
- Delegating tasks to the Assistant Coach and Team Administrator; which may include the following:
- Planning training and match day sessions.
- Selection of teams.
- Communicating venue and start time information to all team members.
- Arranging referees.
- Team equipment, shirts, balls, cones, pads etc.
- Ensuring training equipment is in safe condition before use in coaching sessions and ensuring it is put away tidily and safely after sessions.
- Ensuring playing/training area is safe before a game or training session commences.
- Attend Youth Section meetings and report on progress.
- Travel arrangements to away fixtures.
- Talented team members are identified and put forward for county development squads.
- To ensure adequate cover is in place if a session cannot be attended.
- Following and enforcing the clubs rules on Youth Team Photography
- To identify new volunteer coaches and administrators and inform the Youth Committee.

Responsibilities:
- Calculating budget forecasts.
- Preparing monthly Youth Section management accounts.
- Preparing annual Youth Section accounts and presenting to Club Honorary Treasurer at least 3 weeks before the Club AGM.
- Making payments as Youth Section Cheque account signatory.
- Control of where and how Youth Section funds are banked and saved.
- Liasing with the Club Honorary Treasurer on a regular basis.
- Attending Youth Section Management and General committee meetings
- Identification and recruitment of administrators, coaches and helpers (volunteers) for the Youth Rugby Section.
- Training your replacement.
